After more than a decade in the high tech world and a series of serious health and relationship issues, Klaudeen re-birthed her corporate communications career to serve her Soul, and Humanity's voice and cry for authentic connection and healthy self-expression--with Self, and Other.

Klaudeen received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Peace & Conflict Studies from UC Berkeley, and received her Masters Degree in Women’s Spirituality from the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology. She has also studied  at Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, and Embodied Leadership from the Strozzi Institute. She also been through many initiations and apprenticeships with other experts, scholars and shamans in her field (acknowledgment page to come.)

Klaudeen created Shimmy Shaman Circles, out of her graduate studies in shamanism, sacred sexuality, spirituality, and different lineages of "ancient belly dance." On this journey, she had the epiphany that part of her life purpose was rooted in helping wo:men heal body shame, blame, trauma and abuse, by bridging the gap between embodied spirituality/divinity, sexuality, womanhood/manhood and healing.

Serving as a modern day healer, Klaudeen creates sacred healing spaces and rituals (public and private) for wo:men to feel what they need heal, and cultivate a deeper connection with their divine, sensual body wisdom and natural spiritual authority.  Klaudeen believes the more safe, present, liberated, pleasured and unapologetic a woman lives in her body, and with her desires, the more safe, nurturing and kind the world around her becomes.

Some of Klaudeen's personal and professional healing journey includes, traditional therapy, psychotherapy, shamanic journeys, various spiritual initiations, Somatic Experiencing, movement/art therapy, sacred dance, women's healing rituals, Ayerveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

 

Klaudeen's heritage includes Mexican, Aztec Indian and Spanish maternal roots, and Iranian/Persian paternal roots. She was born in the United States and traveled to more than 30 countries in her life. This life experience has helped her cultivate a great “third eye” for healing, empathy, compassion and wisdom, with people and families of diverse cultures, beliefs and orientations.

 

As an ordained minister and wedding officiant, marrying people who love, cherish, and honor each other is one of her favorite rituals to create and be a part of.

When Klaudeen is not Shimmying her inner-Shaman in circles and ceremonies, she is a communications catalyst and coach for families, couples and co-workers and teams in high-tech. Klaudeen is also a lead trainer and facilitator for, "Yes, You Can Speak!" -- a 5-star transformative public speaking company in Belmont, CA.
